OVERVIEW
Every year, Zanpa holds a dinner party titled “PREMIUM DINNER PARTY with ZANPA - SMILE BE WAVES -” where that year’s new product announcements are paired with dishes matched with those new offerings and specially-selected Awamori sake. Last year, Zanpa held this premium dinner party at the famous Tokyo French restaurant “La Table Joël Robuchon” to much acclaim, and will be holding the party this year as well.
This year, we have specially rented the premises of Sennyu-ji Temple, the main memorial temple for the Imperial family, and will prepare an outdoor party pairing dinner with five kinds of ZANPA's specially-selected sake. The cuisine to be served will be a collaboration with the famous restaurant “Gion Tsubaki” in Kyoto’s Gion quarter. The chef himself will make his way to Okinawa and use carefully-selected Okinawan ingredients to create Kyoto kaiseki cuisine that will arouse your curiosity about gastronomy.
Moreover, requested to serve as the designer of “TORAKICHI 2024,” this year’s entry in Zanpa’s high-end series of the finest old sake, is Naoki Sato, the composer who won an Academy Award for his film score and is responsible for bringing numerous famous film and drama scores to the world. In addition to design production, we also asked Sato to supervise the blend that determines the taste of sake. Enjoy the marriage of a variety of premium Awamori sake, including these products, with delectable cuisine at this dinner party.
